The hotel was too expensive for what it was, we were given an upgrade to a room with a 70' style decor and a massive circular bed. Bathroom very old and hot water was off and on.Rooms definately need to be refurbished.

The Hotel is right on the historic centre, which is great. The serre in the breakfastroom gives a breathtaking view of lac Morat. The room was ok, and clean.
I would have liked to have the possibility to make coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom was clean, but had no lock on the door.

This hotel is a hidden gem inside the medieval city wall of a quaint old village with amazing lake views. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Our family room was spacious with bunk beds and a comfortable king-size bed. Breakfast on the veranda with a fantastic view was the perfect way to start the day.
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

The person who checked us in (co-owner of the hotel) was so good at his job. Interested, helpful, polite, perfect English. The rest of the staff were all very good as well. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was very good, beautifully presented and the dining room is in a very picturesque location.
The only thing that I would comment on is that I thought it was a shame that internet access was not free, which I thought it should be for 240 francs a night.

This hotel is truly unique, with its rooms featuring different furniture, giving it a refreshing touch. I was lucky enough to stay in a room with a round bed, reminiscent of Austin Powers! The views of the lake and castle from the room were absolutely stunning. The spaciousness of the rooms allowed me to settle in comfortably, and the added bonus of a fridge was a pleasant surprise. The location of this hotel, nestled in a picturesque old village near a beautiful lake, was simply perfect.
My experience at this hotel was wonderful and I have no complaints.
